First of all, I live in Indonesia. Right now, i’m currently a college student at one of uni in Indonesia. My majors in uni is public health. Maybe some people who hear i’m a public health students might think that i’m study about this year pandemic. The truth is, not at all because in public health we study about how to prevent diseases in society. And of course public health is very important role to handle this pandemic. But that’s not what i’m going to talk about. I’m gonna focus more to tell how i see Covid-19 as a college student who learn public health.
When 2020 starts i’m not gonna lie i wish this year could be a lot better than last year. But after china announce Covid-19 for the first time, i got a bad feeling.
Two months later after China announce the first case of Covid-19, In March 2 Indonesia announce the first confirmed patient. I’m literally shock, because it was on Depok and i live there. Day after day passed, now 14 September 2020 Indonesia has 221,523 total cases. It took about more than 6 months Indonesia has 221,523 total cases.
Honestly, i truly feel sad 😦
and at the same time i’m scared if it doesn’t get any better.
Well, i wish people listen well to the scientists and doctors. And government do what experts says to do. Please, do not be greedy. Just listen to what experts say.
I’m so tired of this… and everyone’s too. Especially people’s who fight at the front line a.k.a Doctors, Nurses and all of health workers out there.
Lastly, i want to say THANK YOU to all the TRUE HEROES out there who fighting for this pandemic. Hope we all get better really soon.
I love you, stay healthy okay?😘🤞
